Osborne School - WinchesterOsborne School  – Winchester

Osborne School is a community special school in Winchester catering for pupils between the ages of 11 and 19. The school was created following the closure and amalgamation of two schools for learners with moderate learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties and moved into brand new, purpose built accommodation in September 2003. Some of the pupils here have moderate learning difficulties, some have severe or profound learning difficulties and some are on the autistic spectrum.

Morph ICT has been providing support to the school since their technician moved on. We have replaced all of the schools ageing Windows XP computers with Windows 7 and the ageing network infrastructure is being replaced with modern virtual environment bringing Osborne School the latest technology. Onsite backups have been replaced with a secure off-site solution.

The school was also in need of both a audio visual and a wireless network overhaul. Replacing 24 rise and fall SmartBoard with CleverTouch internactive touchscreens and audio solutions.

Individual wireless access points were replaced with a full cloud managed Meraki Wireless System providing the school with one coherent wireless network that covers both the main building and the newly established Osborne College.
